Kim holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a J.D. from Northeastern University. Prior to joining AMI, he practiced law with Vandermeulen, Goldman & Allen in Augusta, Maine.
Kim is an active member of the Maine business community, serving on the boards of the Kennebec Land Trust, the Kennebec Valley YMCA, and the Chambers of Commerce for the State of Maine, Kennebec Valley, and Winthrop Lakes Region . In 2008, he was named Business Person of the Year by the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Kim and his wife Linda, a nurse practitioner, reside in Wayne and enjoy visiting their children, two engineers and an architect, who are based in Seattle, San Francisco and San Diego, California.
Originally from Illinois, Greg obtained his B.S. Degree in General Business Management from Purdue University. Upon graduation he moved to Maine where he has spent most of the past 30 years. Greg has been in leadership roles with both Huhtamaki (formerly The Chinet Company) and Hannaford Supermarkets.
Greg joined AMI in 2008 and today is responsible for Program Management, Supply Chain Management as well as inventory control. He recently received his IPC Program Management certification and currently is the ISO 9001 Management Representative.
Greg and his wife reside in Waterville. He enjoys officiating high school basketball games, is a past President of the local Central Maine IAABO Board 20 official’s organization and participating in both running and triathalon events. In the past he has been active in many different organizations from youth athletic leagues to downtown revitalization groups and has served as a leader in local United Way campaigns and American Cancer drives. He is currently active in the Winthrop Rotary Club and serves on the board of the Kennebec Valley United Way and Central/Western Maine Workforce Development Board.
Scot Story is the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at AMI. He joined the company in November of 2009 and is responsible for business development, technical sales and marketing for all aspects of the company. An entrepreneur by nature, Scot enjoys working with start-up companies on their product manufacturing through his role at AMI.
Scot received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has over twenty years of experience in electronics manufacturing including time with Motorola and Lockheed Martin, and was a recipient of Lockheed Martin’s Galaxy Award. He also is a co-founder of Project Sparrow, a non-profit focused on helping foster children in Maine. In 2013, he was recognized by the Portland Sea Dogs as a “Good Samaritan.”
Steve, a Maine native, embodies the employee-owner culture at AMI. Having begun his career at AMI during its early years, Steve has worked throughout the manufacturing operations at AMI, culminating in his leadership position over the entire manufacturing and test departments as well as maintenance and technical services. With his thorough understanding of AMI’s processes, Steve champions AMI’s Lean Manufacturing activities and achieving quality objectives.
Steve and his wife reside in Winslow along with their two children.
