The IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries recently released a paper detailing why software is an important and driving force in keeping and re-shoring manufacturing in the States. From product design and development to production and assessment, the U.S. leads the world in software development that helps companies accomplish these tasks as part of the manufacturing process and gives U.S. firms a competitive edge. Made in the U.S.A.
A product made in the U.S.A. still matters – more so today than ever before. There are clear advantages to being manufactured domestically that no amount of savings achieved from outsourcing to Low Cost Countries can overcome. These include the cost in shipping delays, compensating inventory increases, delays in communications, intellectual property theft and concerns over working conditions and human rights. Many of our customers find that Made in The U.S.A. is important to their customers as well.
